Submission Status
When you submit an application, document, or change report, you will see a record of this on your OneAlabama dashboard.
Immediately upon submitting, you will see a blue box that indicates the submission type, the date submitted (this will be the next business day, if submitted on a weekend or after-hours), and the status of the submission.
Status
Pending: the submission has been queued and sent to the Alabama Department of Human Resources but has not been picked up by a worker yet.
Received: the submission has been received by a worker and is being reviewed.
- If your application, change, or document requires further communication, a case worker will reach out via the contact information you provided.
-
Applications will move to Received within about 5 business days.
-
Documents or Change Reports will be Received within about 2 business days, but this could vary. If your demographic information provided does not match an active case, your submission will not be considered valid and you will receive a notification indicating that you can contact a worker if you questions.
Purged: after being received, a submission will eventually be purged, meaning that it is no longer stored electronically, for your privacy. Your case will have the necessary information on file if you have an active case.
Will I know if my Application is accepted on the app? A case worker will contact you to continue your application process after you submit the initial documentation and will work with you on next steps. Acceptance is not recorded in the app
